The Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan invited journalists, politicians, and the people of thought and opinion; to attend and participate in the monthly forum “The Ummah's Issues”, under the title: “The Current Political and Economic Situation under the Emergency Law”.

On the anniversary of the Fall of the Khilafah, on 3 March 1924, corresponding to 28 Rajab 1342, Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Pakistan issues this communiqué. This communiqué is a reminder to us all about the centrality of the Khilafah in our Deen and for our entire Ummah.

These young Muslim men were convicted to 16-years imprisonment in Russia, accused of working with Hizb ut Tahrir to call for Islam as a complete way of life through the establishment of the Khilfah upon the method of the Prophethood.

This Rajab marks the anniversary of that fateful day, 98 years ago when this Muslim Ummah lost its glorious state, its Islamic leadership, its guardian and shield – the Khilafah. Since that time, Muslim women and their families have been plagued with slaughter, starvation, destruction, persecution, dishonor, crippling poverty, destitution, oppression, and unbearable suffering.
