same day that Pakistan’s Prime Minister declared, “The martyrs of 13 July 1931 were the forefathers of today’s Kashmiri resistance,” Pakistan’s Foreign Office announced that Pakistan will allow Afghanistan to send goods to India using the Wagah Border from 15 July 2020. So even whilst praising the Muslims of Kashmir for their patient resistance against India, Pakistan’s rulers stabs them in the back

On 2 July 2020, the ISPR stated that there are no new military deployments along the Line of Control (LoC) in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), in response to Indian claims that Pakistan deployed 20,000 additional troops, during India-China tensions.

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President, Sardar Masood Khan, on 24 June 2020, urged the Muslims to make Occupied Kashmir part of Pakistan, by saying, “The area now occupied by India is actually a part of Pakistan as its people had wished to accede to Pakistan and despite all efforts of India to coerce them into submission they have rejected their rule and writ.”

Effectively abdicating itself of responsibility over Indian Occupied Kashmir, the Bajwa-Imran regime confines itself to threats of retaliation over attacks across the Line of Control. The Director General of ISPR on 3 June 2020 cautioned the Hindu State to “not play with fire,” by undertaking military adventurism. However, mere threats failed to deter the year-long military adventurism that the Hindu State has already undertaken in Occupied Kashmir.
