On the 14th Anniversary of His Abduction... Release Naveed Butt!

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Pakistan has launched a campaign across social media platforms—particularly on X (formerly Twitter)—titled: "On the 14th Anniversary of His Abduction... Release Naveed Butt!" This initiative aims to exert pressure on the unjust Pakistani regime, whose intelligence agencies, 14 years ago, abducted Engineer Naveed Butt—the Official Spokesman for Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Pakistan—in full view of his children and neighbors. He was targeted for boldly speaking the truth and for calling upon Muslims to fulfill their religious duty: to establish a Rightly Guided Caliph who would govern them according to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

This matter has crossed every boundary of cruelty. Raise your voices to demand the release of Brother Naveed Butt.

O Allah, restore to us our shield: the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) upon the Methodology of the Prophethood... O Allah, Ameen.

Duaa / Supplication
For our brother Naveed Butt—may Allah hasten his release
"And they ask, "When will it be?" Say, "Perhaps it is near."
May Allah accept your acts of obedience, O Naveed.
May our Lord grant us reassurance regarding our brother and beloved, Naveed.
O Allah, guard him with Your Eye that never sleeps;
Protect him with Your Pillar of Strength, the ultimate refuge;
And shield him with Your Veil of Protection, which is never lifted.
O Allah, grant him sound health in his body, his hearing, and his sight.
O Allah, protect him from before him and from behind him, from his right and from his left;
And I seek refuge for him in You, O Lord, from being struck down from beneath him.
O Allah, preserve for him his intellect and his well-being;
And spare him the evil of his jailers and oppressors,
As well as the evil of all Your creation.
O Allah, return him—and all Muslim captives, both men and women—from the prisons of the oppressors: safe, triumphant, in good health, honored, and standing tall, back to his family and to us.
O Allah, bestow Your peace, blessings, and grace upon our Master Muhammad, and upon his family and all his companions.
