With respect to the anniversary of the destruction of the Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate), we address an issue at the heart of the anniversary and occasion: the issue of Islamic governance, in terms of its Shariah obligation, its constraints, and its challenges. This is especially true given that the Ummah is currently embroiled in a political, intellectual, and revolutionary movement in ash-Sham related to this very issue.

On the 104th anniversary of the destruction of the Khilafah (Caliphate), the calamities and disasters that befall Muslims continue one after the other, the difficult labor pains intensify, and the deep wound in the heart of our Ummah bleeds more and more. It becomes clearer every day that Muslims have lost the source of their pride, dignity, and strength with the absence of the Islamic Khilafah State.

The Middle East Eye (MEE) reported on 17 March that, “The UAE is lobbying the Trump administration to torpedo a post-war plan for the Gaza Strip that Egypt drafted and which has been endorsed by the Arab League, US and Egyptian officials told Middle East Eye.”

In light of the usurping Jewish entity’s aggression against our people in Gaza, the tone of media and political tensions has recently been escalating, between the Egyptian regime and the Jewish entity. The war of words is against the backdrop of what the Hebrew press has termed “Egyptian harassment” of the Camp David Accords.
