Syria, like all existing countries in the Muslim World, was under the influence and hegemony of colonialist powers, directly since the abolition of the Uthmani Khilafah (Ottoman Caliphate) in 1924, and indirectly after the nominal independence.

Peoples and nations are the primary domain of political entities, including states, parties, and others. People constitute the most important components of society, and its fundamental pillar. The other components, including thoughts, feelings, and systems, depend on them. The system is implemented on them, and they are the ones who carry the prevailing thoughts, and are emotionally influenced by them.

This worldly life is like a pool of loss, from which only those who know how to seize opportunities will be saved. For this reason, the Day of Resurrection is called the “Day of Regret,” because many people have drowned in worldly loss, and failed to take advantage of the precious opportunities afforded to them in their lives.
