The conference will feature a speech by the official spokesperson of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, Ustaadh Ibrahim Othman (Abu Khalil).
Under the headline: "The Russian Security Service arrests a terrorist cell affiliated with Hizb ut Tahrir," Russia Today published a report on February 5, 2025, stating that "The Russian Federal Security Service dismantled a terrorist cell affiliated with Hizb ut Tahrir in Crimea and arrested five individuals who were recruiting supporters for the party, which is banned in Russia."
