On 27th April 2016, an American organization, the Pew Research Center, issued a survey entitled “How much should the Quran influence our country’s laws?” According to this survey around 78 percent of Pakistanis “strictly support” the idea that teachings of the Holy Quran should influence the countries laws.

An American official, visiting Sudan, said that she is looking forward to the implementation of strong laws that will support gender equality including laws that will set a minimum age for marriage, ban female circumcision and treat violence based on gender - as well as other issues that need political reforms.

Warplanes targeted the vegetable market in the town of Ma’irrah An-Nu’man on 19/04/2016 leading to the fall of 43 martyrs and more than 80 wounded whilst they bombed the fish market in the town of Kafr Nabl with a number of airstrikes which led to the fall of 11 martyrs.
