On 5/1/2016, the House of Representatives office received a draft law on the compensation to the American embassy and American School for the damages suffered by them due to the events of September 2012. The Government’s proposed law states the compensation to the embassy with a financial value of $ 5.4 million (10.8 million dinars) and the compensation to the American School of 1848 million dollars (3.6 million dinars).
