As part of the campaign, “The Khilafah "Caliphate" that we want… is on the method of the Prophethood”, and completing its activities on the 94th anniversary of the abolition of Khilafah "Caliphate", Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Jordan held a picket in this painful memory, after Jumaah prayers on 29/5/2015 in Al Tafaylah. The people in Al Tafaylah and its Ahrar, together with Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir have participated, where the crowd marched from the Grand Mosque of Al Tafaylah to Al Tafaylah Governorate’s building and their Takbeers reverberating throughout the place.

The government has recently announced measures designed to bolster already overreaching anti-terror laws. The appointment of a National Counter Terrorism Coordinator and a ministerial position, targeting of school children and legislation that potentially removes citizenship are some of the introduced and proposed changes.

Three days ago, the military forces of the ‘Collective Security Treaty Organization’ (CSTO), which are considered to be a Rapid Defence Force, ended war exercises in Southern Tajikistan. All of the members of the Rapid Defence Force participated in these exercises comprising of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan, whilst the number of those participating numbered more than 2500 soldiers.

On Tuesday 12^th May, the Malaysian and Indonesian governments announced that they would be refusing entry to boatloads of desperate and hungry Rohingya and Bangladeshi men, women and children fleeing persecution in Myanmar or dire poverty in their lands. Tan Kok Kwee, First Admiral of Malaysia’s Maritime Enforcement Agency said, “We won’t let any foreign boats come in” and that the navy would provide “provisions and send them away.”
