Exactly one year has passed over the coup attempt on 15th of July. Not one judicial procedure was completed in order to punish any of the pawns, let alone that of any of those truly responsible for the coup attempt. Even during the struggle against the pawns, "hoof prints were mingled with dog prints".
What a lengthy drama and spectacle, corruption in Pakistan is! We first watched lengthy corruption proceedings against the family of Pakistan's Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, that began over a year ago. We then watched the submission of a lengthy corruption report by the Joint Investigation Team on 10 July 2017. We next watched as the Sharif family filed lengthy legal objections a week later, on 17 July 2017.
