19 July 2026, Brother Nasr al-Din Muhammad Thamin Adam, 25 years old and a member of Hizb ut Tahrir, was arrested by Military Intelligence in the city of Ash-Shawak because he published a post on his Facebook page enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong.

An African Health Summit was held in Accra, the capital of Ghana, on Tuesday and Wednesday, 21–22 July 2026.
