Hizb ut Tahrir / Malaysia (HTM) hosted an open forum entitled "Islam is the Solutions" this Sunday 28 July 2019 at the Khilafah Center, Kuala Lumpur. The forum explores the role and position of Islam as a mabda' (ideology) revealed as the solution to human life.

The Indonesian government chose to remain neutral to the Kashmir crisis involving India and Pakistan, after Pakistan persuaded Indonesia to help pressure India in the United Nations Security Council (UN) to revoke the status of Kashmir privileges.

Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mehmood Qureshi on 17th August 2019, termed Indian Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh’s, statement over a possible change in its “no first use” nuclear policy as a “damning reminder of India's unbridled thirst for violence.” Rajnath Singh suggested on 16th August 2019 that the country’s longstanding pledge not to use nuclear weapons pre-emptively 

On the 16th of August, the BBC reported on the death of 14 migrant travellers who were left to cross the sea by criminal organisations promising a new life in the West. Among the dead was a pregnant woman from Ghana.
