Where Is Your Minds, O Armies of the Muslims?!
Are You Fighting Among Yourselves, While Letting the Colonialist Catch His Breath?!
(Translated)
Trump’s war continues to ravage the Muslim lands and their surroundings. Yet, at the same time, it has exposed the true extent of America’s military capabilities and their limitations. It has revealed America’s inability to sustain prolonged battles, and shown that when it faces resistance, even from forces with less advanced military technology, it quickly becomes bogged down and begins to falter. The war has also demonstrated that the Islamic Ummah can bridge the technological gap between itself and the West if it is determined to do so and makes the necessary effort to achieve victory. As for the Ummah’s ability to withstand hardship, events have proven that it can endure even the harshest and most difficult circumstances.
Ever since America became embroiled in this war, it has struggled to find a way out, seeking to draw others into the conflict to fight on its behalf. It asked European countries, but they refused. It turned to East Asian countries, but they also refused. These countries want to see America bear the consequences of its own actions and curb Trump’s arrogance. They have no desire to become entangled in America’s war. With no other option, America pushed Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan to establish the Makkah Alliance, preparing these countries to enter the war and pull America out of its predicament.
Instead of taking a clear-eyed look at the situation and recognizing that America is bogged down in a quagmire of war—and that this presents an opportunity to free themselves from its influence in the Arabian Gulf—the rulers of these countries established an alliance to fight on America’s behalf, rather than work to drive it out and rid themselves of its harmful influence! All this while the American president continues to publish maps of the Arabian Gulf labeled “Trump Strait”!
A war of this kind would be a terrible disaster. Muslim blood would be shed on both sides, and the armies and peoples of the Muslim world would be drained and weakened. Meanwhile, Al-Aqsa Mosque would remain under occupation, as would Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon. America and the Jewish entity would celebrate their triumph amid the ruins of Muslim children’s and women’s lives, building their throne of domination upon the rubble of cities across the Muslim lands, destroyed by their bombs.
We appeal to every sincere and independent voice among public opinion leaders and decision-makers in the Muslim lands: do not stand by and watch as the entire region is dragged toward disaster. Remember how Al-Andalus was lost: its emirs fought among themselves and conspired with the disbelievers against one another, squandering 700 years of Islamic rule. The recurring war between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia, which new Muslim countries such as Türkiye and Pakistan are now being drawn into, is an unjust and sinful war. Türkiye and Pakistan have a duty to intervene and stop both sides from fueling the conflict. Sincere commitment to Islam demands immediate action to defuse this war. It will bring nothing but further suffering to Muslims and their lands, while breathing new life into the enemies of the Muslims and their economies.
As for Iran, which in the past helped consolidate American dominance over Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Levant, its new leadership must reassess its relationship with Allah (swt) and with the Muslims. If it has learned a lesson from America turning against it—that aligning itself with the colonialist kafir (disbeliever) and advancing its interests at the expense of Muslim suffering is a crime forbidden by Islam, even when misleading fatwas are issued to justify it—then it should recognize that such a course amounts to political suicide, as events have shown. Having learned this lesson, Iran must focus on securing the salvation of the Muslims and safeguarding their unity, rather than igniting further wars among them. It must also remove the pretexts that the colonialist disbelieving West exploits and inflames to fuel this war.
As for the fatwas issued by both sides claiming that Muslims fighting one another is jihad for the sake of Allah, these are misguided rulings that lead others astray. They serve only to distract people from the genuine fatwa that must be issued without delay: the obligation to declare jihad and mobilize to end colonial influence, liberate Al-Aqsa Mosque, and free all other lands occupied by colonialist disbelievers, including Lebanon, southern Syria, and Kashmir.
As for the officers in the Muslim armies who possess strength and power, joining a proxy war on America’s behalf would be a double betrayal. Yesterday, they stood by as Gaza was devastated, Al-Aqsa Mosque was desecrated, and Kashmir was occupied, all in obedience to rulers who serve foreign interests. Now they are standing by as those same rulers drag them into a war against their own brothers. Meanwhile, they are allowing the colonialist disbeliever, which is on the verge of losing its influence over the Muslim lands, to catch its breath and recover its strategic advantage. Wake up, officers and commanders!
Allah (swt) says:
[قَاتِلُواْ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَلاَ بِالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَلاَ يُحَرِّمُونَ مَا حَرَّمَ اللّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَلاَ يَدِينُونَ دِينَ الْحَقِّ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابِ حَتَّى يُعْطُواْ الْجِزْيَةَ عَن يَدٍ وَهُمْ صَاغِرُونَ] “Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day, who do not forbid what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden, and who do not follow the religion of truth, among those who were given the Scripture, until they pay the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.” [TMQ At-Tawbah:29].
