Hizb ut Tahrir / Kenya is pleased to congratulate the Muslims in the country and across the globe in general on arrival of the blessed month of Ramadhan. As we enter this month of mercy, forgiveness and redemption from Hellfire, we would like to remind Muslims in this, to read the Qur’an by internalizing the meaning and also to steadfastly abide by its teachings.

Kenya Railways demolished Jamia’ Mosque at Kibos area in Kisumu County along with houses that were home to dozens of families over the rehabilitation of the Nairobi- Kisumu railway line. The mosque is one of the largest and oldest worshiping centres in Kisumu built around 83 years ago.

With the grace of Allah (swt), Hizb ut Tahrir / Kenya concluded its campaign which kicked off on 25th August 2020 and ended 31st December 2020; the campaign addressed the root cause of rampant sexual acts as well as teenage pregnancies among the school children in Kenya during the closure of schools due to Covid-19 pandemic.

On Friday 30th October 2020, members of Hizb ut Tahrir/ Kenya held a series of picketing in support of Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. The picketing was conducted after Jumua prayers in main cities of Nairobi and Mombasa as well other coastal towns.
