We address you regarding the severe and prolonged persecution of the advocates for Khilafah "Caliphate" in Pakistan. Many have suffered severe torture, including sleep deprivation, merciless beatings, forced mind-altering medication and electric shocks at the hands of security agencies. Some have been imprisoned and some have been abducted, their whereabouts unknown until now.

On 9 February 2016, the advocate for the Khilafah "Caliphate" and highly respected lecturer, Kamran, was seized by the Raheel-Nawaz regime's thugs, on his way from his Lahore home to work, with his whereabouts unknown until now.

According to the Dawn Newspaper of 5 March 2016, "The visit has not been officially announced yet, but multiple government sources confirmed that Mr Sharif planned to visit Saudi Arabia from March 9 to 11. On 20th February 2016, under the title "Court set up to try nation’s ‘enemies’ holds first hearing" the English language Dawn Newspaper reported on its webpage that a special court approved by Parliament under the "National Action Plan," which is no more than a US plan to suppress Islam, will be held on 22 February 2016 for the trial of twelve members of banned outfit for distributing pamphlets inciting "hatred."
