[يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ * ارْجِعِي إِلَى رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً * فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي * وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي]

“O tranquil soul * Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing * And enter among My [righteous] servants * And enter My Paradise.” [Al-Fajr:27–30]

On Wednesday 12 Dhu al-Qa‘dah 1447 AH corresponding to 28 April 2026 CE, the virtuous sister, the dawah carrier working for the establishment of the second Khilafah Rashidah(rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, member in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Yemen, Sister Lamya bint Bashar passed away.

May Allah have mercy on our virtuous sister who responded to the command of Allah (swt):

[وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ]

“And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful.” [Aal-i ‘Imran:104].

Thus she opened her heart and her home to host the circles of Hizb ut Tahrir aimed at educating the Da‘wah carriers with the rulings of Islam and its ideas.

And her house was a landmark by which those keen on attaining the pleasure of Allah the Exalted were guided, in attending the collective sessions and active participation in seminars among women. So that the house of our virtuous sister would be in imitation and seeking blessing from the house of the companion Al-Arqam ibn Abi Al-Arqam, may Allah be pleased with him, which witnessed the gathering of the first Muslims from the companions, may Allah be pleased with them, around the Messenger of Allah (saw), reciting to them what was revealed to him from the Qur’an and removing from their minds the ideas of ignorance and placing in their place the rulings of Islam and its ideas, forming from them Islamic personalities that led the world with Islam and defeated the Persians and the Romans.

Our virtuous sister was not prevented by the suffering of illness from carrying the Da‘wah and hastening to the command of Allah:

[وَسَارِعُوا إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ]

“And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous.” [Aal-i ‘Imran:133]. And the saying of His Prophet (saw): «اغْتَنِمْ خَمْساً قبلَ خَمْسٍ: شبابَكَ قبلَ هَرَمِكَ، وصِحَّتَكَ قبلَ سَقَمِكَ، وغِناءكَ قبلَ فَقْرِكَ، وفَراغَكَ قبلَ شُغلِكَ، وحياتَكَ قبلَ موتِكَ»“Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your illness, your wealth before your poverty, your free time before your busyness, and your life before your death.” (Reported by Al-Hakim in Al-Mustadrak from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both)

We ask Allah (swt) to envelop our sister with His Vast Mercy, and to accept her among those upon whom He has bestowed favor of the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous—and excellent are those as companions. And we ask Him to inspire her family and relatives with patience and consolation. And we say nothing except what pleases our Lord the Exalted:  ]إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ [“Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.” [Al-Baqarah:156].
