The Sudanese Judiciary Fights the Dawah to Islam

Despite the acquittal of the members of Hizb ut Tahrir being tried in El Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan State, who were initially charged under Articles 63, 67, 69, and 126 of the Sudanese Penal Code, the judge insisted on continuing the trial under Article 69 after dropping the other charges in the session held on Sunday,1/3/2026. He then scheduled a session for Monday, 30/3/2026, to continue the trial. Article 69 was the first article under which charges were filed against the members on 27/1/2026. As a reminder, the article states: “Whoever disturbs the public peace, or commits an act intended to, or likely to, disturb the public peace or public tranquility, and this occurs in a public place, shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding one month, or by a fine, or by flogging not exceeding twenty lashes.” This article, which even the youngest law student knows is a drawn sword and a tool of repression, is used by the government against those it imagines to be its adversaries!

In a press release, Ibrahim Othman (Abu Khalil), the official spokesperson for Hizb ut-Tahrir in Sudan, said: We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan issued a press release at the time entitled: “Has the Call to Islam and its Implementation become a Disruption of Public Peace and Tranquility?!” We reiterate the question: Has calling to Islam and implementing its rule under its Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood, truly become a crime and a disruption of public peace and tranquility?!

Ustadh Abu Khalil added: The members of Hizb ut Tahrir, whom the government and its security, judicial, and legal apparatuses insist on prosecuting, are simply fulfilling a great obligation: calling to Islam and implementing its rule. And Allah (swt) says, ﴿وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلاً مِمَّنْ دَعَا إِلَى اللهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحاً وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ﴾ “And whose words are better than someone who calls ˹others˺ to Allah, does good, and says, “I am truly one of those who submit” [Fussilat: 33]. Did Allah (swt) not say: ﴿وَلْتَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْر وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ﴾ “Let there be a group among you who call ˹others˺ to goodness, encourage what is good, and forbid what is evil—it is they who will be successful” [TMQ Surah Aal-i-Imran: 104]?

Abu Khalil continued: This oppressive regime, subservient to the kafir, colonial West, obeying its commands and prohibitions, obstructing the call to Allah and to the implementation of His Book and the Sunnah of His Prophet (saw), and complicit in the plot to separate Darfur, is unworthy of ruling the best Ummah brought forth for mankind. O Muslims of Sudan, are you content to see those who call to your creed and the implementation of the Shariah of your Lord criminalized, and then remain idle?! What the members of Hizb ut Tahrir, who are being tried, did is your duty and an obligation upon you. So, restrain the oppressors and work with those striving to establish the Islamic system and its Khilafah Rashidah, on the method of the Prophethood, so that you may be among the victorious on the Day of Judgment, and before that, live the life of dignity that the early Muslims lived, those who carried this Deen and implemented it.

Ustadh Abu Khalil concluded his press statement by reminding the people of Sudan of the Almighty’s words: ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا للهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ﴾ “O believers! Respond to Allah and His Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life” [TMQ Surah Al-Anfal: 24]

Loyalty to Disbelievers is Disgrace in this World and Painful Punishment in the Hereafter

The rulers in Muslim lands have failed to grasp the gravity of becoming allies to kuffar (disbelievers), and that it brings disgrace in this world and painful punishment in the Hereafter. ﴿الَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَيَبْتَغُونَ عِنْدَهُمُ الْعِزَّةَ فَإِنَّ الْعِزَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعاً﴾ “Those who choose disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek honour and power through that company? Surely all honour and power belongs to Allah” [An-Nisa: 139]. They do not realize that kaffir nations are primarily concerned with their own interests and harbour enmity towards Islam and Muslims day and night. If they show any satisfaction with a country that orbits in their sphere of influence or even with their agents, it is because they do not wish them well, but rather conceal and declare evil.

If these rulers, whether they orbit in their sphere of influence or are their agents, understood that America does not value them if its interests require their removal, they would learn from the lessons of history. How many agents has America discarded after they had exhausted their role in serving them? If these rulers had any sense, they would reject the kuffar like a seed, but they are deaf, dumb, and blind, and they will not return. Their loyalty to the Kafir colonizers has reached the point where when any of their countries is attacked, the others do not move to its aid. The best they do is count the dead and wounded! As is the case with the attack on Iran.

Events Commemorating the 105th Anniversary of the Destruction of the Khilafah (Caliphate)!

On the occasion of the 105th Hijri (102nd CE) anniversary of the destruction of the Islamic State (the Ottoman Caliphate) by the kaffir (disbelieving) colonizers, aided by Arab and Turkish traitors, and the abolition of the Islamic system of governance (the Caliphate) from the life of the Muslim Ummah, and the fragmentation of Muslim lands into weak entities ruled by agents of the kaffir colonizers, Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkiye organized a series of simultaneous seminars and meetings in 50 locations across Turkiye under the title:

“The Khilafah Is Not an Option, But a Shari' Obligation!”

The participation of Muslims in the events and seminars was remarkable, demonstrating their support for the serious work to establish the Second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) on the methodology of the Prophethood, as promised by Allah (swt), Who said, ﴿وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْناً﴾ “Allah has promised those of you who believe and do righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession in authority in the land, just as He granted it to those before them, and that He will surely empower for them their Deen which He has chosen for them, and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security” [TMQ Surah An-Nur: 55], and by the glad tidings of His Messenger (saw) who said, as narrated by Imam Ahmad in Al-Musnad on the authority of Hudhayfah (ra), «ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكاً جَبْرِيَّةً، فَتَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ، ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا، ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةٌ عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ نُبُوَّةٍ» “then there will be a tyrannical rule, and it will last as long as Allah (swt) wills it to last, then He will end it when He wills to end it, then there will be a Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood.”

Siyam (Shariah Fasting) was not Obligated Just to Have its Effects Confined to Masajid

The blessed month of Ramadan arrives while the Muslim World suffers from political fragmentation, multiple divided entities, and oppressive regimes, at a time when it is set upon by major powers, its sanctities violated, and its resources plundered. The most important lesson to remember during this blessed month is that fasting cultivates piety (taqwa), and piety requires that Islam be the complete and comprehensive way of life, in ruling governance as well as in personal conduct, in economics as well as social life, and in domestic affairs as well as foreign policy.

Allah (swt) did not obligate Siyam merely to confine its effects to masajid, but instead to forge an Ummah that takes pride in its Deen, strives to establish its ruling, and revives to carry its Risaalah message. The unity of the Muslim World is not a dream, but a Shariah obligation and a vital issue, which can only be achieved through the establishment of a Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood, unifying it under one Rayah banner and carrying Islam to the world.

We affirm that working to establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) is not merely a political matter, but an act of worship through which we draw closer to Allah (swt), for it is a revival of the Islamic way of life and a fulfillment of the promise of Allah (swt) of istikhlaaf (succession in authority) and tamkeen (empowerment) for those who believe and do righteous deeds. Ramadan is a month in which good deeds are multiplied in reward, and supplicated Duas are answered; let it be a month of renewing our covenant with Allah (swt) to support His Deen, establish His ruling governance, and strive for the unity of the Ummah under the Rayah banner of “There is no god but Allah (swt), Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah (saw).”

The Natural Laws (Sunan) of Allah (swt) Do Not Provide Alternatives for Those Who Do Not Work

The world today stands at a moment of a global Yaum Al-Bu’aath, the last battle between Al-Aws and Al-Khazraj before Islam. This is not in terms of the event itself, but in its similarity to what occurred in Al-Bu’aath of the past. An international order is crumbling, corrupt values are being exposed, an unjust legitimacy is collapsing, and a false prestige is dissipating. However, the natural laws (Sunan) of Allah (swt) do not operate spontaneously, nor do they provide alternatives for those who do not work to fill the void. The void left by the collapse of the Western model does not inherently contain a project. Instead, it opens the way and removes obstacles by the command, plan, and decree of Allah (swt), the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth, for those who work for the Risaalah message of the great Islam as an authentic project to save humanity from a capitalism that has crushed it, and a democracy that has emptied it of every noble value, leaving it without a moral compass.

However, this authentic project, that will fill the void, will neither be achieved by waiting, nor by counting on the self-destruction of the other. Just as Al-Madinah Al-Munawwara was not built directly on the ruins of the Battle of Bu’aath, no civilizational rebirth today can be based merely on the collapse of the existing order, but instead on working and striving diligently to implement the authentic project, enforce its Shariah rulings, and save humanity.

The revival was not an end, but a prelude. And the revival was not a miracle, but the fruit of work, commitment, and patience. Today, in this moment of great exposing, Allah (swt) will not question or hold us accountable for those who fell and collapsed. Instead, Allah (swt) will question us about our own actions and our commitment to His command in building the great edifice of Islam.

Unity of Feeling Must Transform to Unity of Action and Decision

The political division of Muslim countries has resulted in each state being ruled by a Western agent, viewing Palestine through the lens of its own interests, not those of the Islamic Ummah.

Despite this, every time borders are closed, hearts remain open, and solidarity is renewed. This means that the flame of belonging has not been extinguished, but it needs a political framework to transform it into action.

Ramadan is an opportunity to re-examine this reality, not only through supplicated Dua and tears, but through deep reflection: Why does this scenario repeat itself? Why do these tragedies persist without radical change? Is the problem a lack of resources, or is it the nature of the political system that governs relations between nations and limits their actions?

If abandoning the oppressed is a collective sin, then escaping this sin begins with awareness. Awareness that the issue is not merely humanitarian, but political. And that unity of feeling must one day transform into unity as a single state and unity of independent decision-making. Only then will Palestine cease to be a news item and become a practical priority.

Gaza has exposed the chasm between an Ummah that feels, and regimes that are merely calculating. Gaza revealed that the problem lies not in the number of Muslims, nor in their resources, but instead in the nature of their relationships. This realization, however painful, is the first step toward change. For acknowledging the nature of the disease is the beginning of the search for the cure.

And the cure for the Ummah, which will restore its unity and liberate the occupied lands of Islam, foremost among them Palestine, is the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood.

It Is Time to Fulfill the Glad Tidings of the Prophet (saw), Even Though the Crusaders Hate That

It is time for the tamkeen (empowerment) of the Deen, and istikhlaaf (succession in authority) of the Ummah, and the restoration of the junnah (shield) of the Ummah. It is time for a Rightly-Guided Imam to mobilize all the armies of Muslims against the disruptive American military bases in the Muslim World, including its largest base in the region, the Jewish entity. It is time for the armies to return to their true military doctrine, the doctrine of Iman, Tawwakul, and Jihad in the Path of Allah (swt).

It is time for a new generation of military commanders to strive to fulfill the glad tidings of the Prophet (saw), even though the American crusaders hate that. The Prophet (saw) said, «ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكًا جَبْرِيَّةً فَتَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ، ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا، ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ. ثُمَّ سَكَتَ» “Then it will be a tyrannical rule, and it will last as long as Allah (swt) wills it to last. Then He (swt) will remove it when He wills to remove it. Then there will be a Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood. Then he fell silent” [Ahmed]. So, who amongst you will grant nussrah (military support) for the re-establishment of the Khilafah? The Prophet (saw) said, «لَتُقَاتِلُنَّ الْيَهُودَ فَلَتَقْتُلُنَّهُمْ» “You must certainly fight the Jews” [Muslim]. So, who amongst you will lead the armies of the Ummah in the liberation of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa?  And it was narrated «بينما نَحنُ حولَ رسولِ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ عليهِ وسلَّمَ نَكْتبُ إذ سُئِلَ رسولُ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ عليهِ وسلَّمَ/ أيُّ المدينَتينِ تُفتَحُ أوَّلًا، قُسطنطينيَّةُ أو روميَّةُ ؟ فقالَ رسولُ اللَّهِ صلَّى اللَّهُ عليهِ وسلَّمَ : مَدينةُ هرقلَ تُفتَحُ أوَّلًا يَعني قُسطَنطينيَّةَ» “While we were around the Messenger of Allah (saw) writing, the Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked, ‘Which of the two cities will be conquered first, Constantinople or Rome?’ The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, “The city of Heraclius will be conquered first,” meaning Constantinople” [Ahmed, Ad-Darami]. So, who amongst you will lead the conquests in Europe, until Rome is under Islam? And the Prophet (saw) said, «إِنَّ اللَّهَ زَوَى لِيَ الْأَرْضَ فَرَأَيْتُ مَشَارِقَهَا وَمَغَارِبَهَا وَإِنَّ أُمَّتِي سَيَبْلُغُ مُلْكُهَا مَا زُوِيَ لِي مِنْهَا» “Allah drew the ends of the world near one another for my sake. And I have seen its eastern and western ends. And the dominion of my Ummah would reach those ends which have been drawn near me” [Muslim]. So, who amongst you will build an army that will extend the dominion of the Ummah over the entire world?

Erdogan’s Claim that He Is Not Neutral Is a Blatant Lie

Erdogan said, “We are not neutral in events that disturb the peace of our brothers and neighbors. We are not neutral in issues that threaten the future of the entire world. We, as Turkey, stand for peace and tranquility. We stand for calm and stability, solidarity and cooperation. We stand for universal values, justice, and development.”

Al-Rayah Newspaper: If you are not neutral, Erdogan, then where were you when the Jews were committing genocide in the Gaza Strip? Where were you when China’s injustices against the Muslims of East Turkestan reached unprecedented levels? Where were you when Muslims were being displaced from their homes in Myanmar? Where were you when Bashar al-Assad’s thugs were dismembering Muslims in Syria?! Why are your armed forces still sitting idle in their barracks while Iran and Lebanon are being bombed now? Have billions of dollars been spent for years on these massive armies to protect the Ummah of the Prophet (saw) and its lands, or to protect your throne?!

These statements are diplomatic anesthetic intended to numb the Ummah’s feelings. What Muslims need is not tales of peace and tranquility from the secular democratic system, but instead, a Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood that eradicates the influence of the disbelievers, removes the artificial nationalistic borders between Muslims, liberates occupied lands, and takes revenge on the disbelieving colonialist and the usurping Jewish entity that attacks Muslim lands.

There is No Security, No Safety, and No Dignified Life Under the Capitalist System

On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, Melania Trump chaired a meeting of the UN Security Council in New York dedicated to discussing ways to protect children in conflict zones. In her address, she emphasized that she was chairing the meeting under difficult circumstances, noting that Washington stands with children around the world, and calling for the strengthening of peace and the protection of children’s right to education and access to modern technology.

Ar-Rayah Newspaper: Days after the US and the Jewish entity bombed a girls’ primary school in Iran, killing 165 students, Melania Trump comes to chair a meeting to discuss ways to protect children in conflict zones!

Children’s rights, human rights, and the protection of innocents in conflicts and wars are nothing but a card that America uses whenever it wants to attack the Shariah rulings of Islam, strip Muslims of their Deen and identity, and spread moral decay and corruption among them. However, when it comes to the injustice and crimes committed against Muslim children, they are either silent bystanders, as silent as the grave, or, more often than not, complicit in these crimes. The genocidal war in Gaza is a prime example of this.

The undeniable truth is that children, and indeed all of humanity, cannot enjoy security, safety, and a dignified life under the capitalist system and the colonialist powers that govern it. The Epstein scandal and the atrocities, crimes, and abuse suffered by children and minors there speak volumes on this point. There is no salvation for all of humanity except through the implementation of Islamic Shariah Law under the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate).
